Matt was really sick this year, so I took the kids to Nagymama and Nagypapa’s house on Saturday to spend time with my mom for Mother’s Day and give him a chance to rest. We had a relaxing day together with the kiddos playing and mom and I had a chance to catch-up.
On Sunday, I woke up to excited voices talking about Mother’s Day and figured out that the kids were making a sign and cards for me. I was happy to sleep in a little and when I went to the kitchen, Matt was making my favorite breakfast of cream cheese stuffed French toast. He also made me a mimosa and was waiting anxiously for a delivery. Later that day, I received a gorgeous bouquet of 2 dozen roses.
We ended the day with a fun dinner at the Vig. Bella was covering her ears because there was a band playing and it was a little intimidating for her. After awhile, she relaxed and was dancing and having a great time. It was such a fun night, and I feel so blessed and appreciated. It was definitely my best Mother’s Day yet.
