I woke up early to make sure Carson’s first day went smoothly. Cooked his favorite breakfast of ham and cheese croissants and apples. We had set his clothes out the night before. When it was time to wake up, I went into his room and opened up his blinds a little. He was definitely tired and wanted me to scratch his back for a few minutes. He then remembered and said, “Time to get ready. It’s a very big day today!”
He was really looking forward to it and had this cute, excited smile all morning.
Brushing teeth in the morning before his first day of school.
Having his favorite breakfast.
Getting dressed for his first day.
Ready to go.
Carson met Miss Santi that morning and gave her a big hug.
He was excited to meet up with his friend and neighbor, Bella.
We saw the other KTR kids who are attending Cambridge too.
Recess Time
Carson came home from his first day tired, but very happy. He said his teacher was “cool and nice”. They made a raccoon book and read, “The Kissing Hand”. The second day was a full day, and he had another great day. He said his second day was “awesome” and that it was “even better than yesterday”. They got to play with toys and eat in the “cappyteria”. He colored a raccoon for a puppet and got to play with some musical instruments. We are looking forward to a wonderful year!
