We spent a day in Sedona trying to find a good spot to pitch rocks and play in the creek. We had some lunch and then ended up near the Junipine Resort where the kids had a great time.
Nightly Walks
Most evenings after dinner we take the kids out to the golf course to walk and play. Matt usually hits some balls and the kids run and get their wiggles out.
Bella gets a little tuckered out towards the end of the loop.

We met some friends for a night out on the town in Flagstaff.

Carson’s 5th Birthday
This year we celebrated Carson’s birthday in Flagstaff. He had been asking to go fishing for awhile, so we rented a boat at Lake Mary and took him out. There was a paddleboard event that day as well.
We had a slow start because our lines in several of the poles were tangled.
Unfortunately, we did not catch anything, but we will try again soon.
After fishing, Grandpa, Grandma, Makinzie and Brookelyn met us for lunch to celebrate Carson’s birthday.
Mimi and Papa came over when we got back to Mesa to celebrate. Mimi made the most amazing Desplitosauras cake for Carson per his request. You can tell by his face how excited he was about his cake. He has since penned Mimi, “Master Baker”.
We made s’mores, planted and watered flowers, played at Buffalo Park and enjoyed the pool. We had a fun visit from Nagypapa too.
Fourth of July 2011
We decided to drive up to Snowbowl and have some lunch. We met up with friends while the kids played on the deck.
There weren’t any fireworks this year due to fire danger, but we took a nice stroll on the golf course after a nice BBQ dinner.
